Gala Dinner at the Scottish National Gallery - Delegates and Guests
(Map - Scottish National Gallery)
The Gala Dinner will take place within the Scottish National Gallery.   The gallery is located on The Mound in central Edinburgh within a William Henry Playfair designed neoclassical building. Opening in 1859, this venue provides (in relative terms) more modern surroundings to conclude the conference.

Places at the Gala Dinner are limited and registration is essential. If you have not registered for this event at the time of registering for WBC2016 and would now like to attend, please contact the deVal Events Ltd to register. Contact details can be found here.

Gala Dinner After Party
Following the Gala Dinner, delegates and guests will be transported up the Mound to join members of the Faculty for an After Dinner Party in the Laigh Hall of the Advocates Library. Delegates will be entertained by "The Reclaimers", displaying the musical talents of the Scottish Bar and Bench. Not many jurisdictions can boast a rocking chief judge!

Tours are conducted in English. Tour handsets are available for use to accompany these public guided tours which provide a version of the guide's commentary (suitable for adults due to the detailed content) in various languages. These can be requested using the booking form on the Parliament website.
